Broadway Plaza Hotel

My husband, two kids, and I stayed in a room with two double beds. We had a great stay. The pros: great location, fair pricing, friendly hotel staff, large room (by NYC standards), great view of the Empire State Building, clean accommodations, multiple elevators, TV with basic channels. I also appreciated the water bottles in the room. The cleaning staff was very quick to replenish toilet paper and other necessities during our stay. The cons: While it is beyond the control of the hotel, the street noise was loud at night and could be heard even with the double paned windows. We played white noise from our cell phone and that helped. Also, the hotel charges a “resort fee” of about $10 per night, but there are no resort amenities to really speak of. There is no hotel restaurant, for example. (They do offer coupons for 15% breakfast and lunch at a nearby Mexican restaurant, though.) Overall, I was very pleased with our stay and I would book here again. Again, good value for the money.

We had a comfortable stay at Broadway Plaza. Great location, walkable, great selection of restaurants in the area. Staff was very accommodating and super helpful. Checking in was a breeze. The only thing I noticed was the noise from the street, woke me up during the night quite a few times. Lots of honking and people yelling out. The room was renovated, very clean. Complimentary water bottles are a plus. I would consider staying here again.
